Frequently asked questions

We hope to answer any of your queries here, however, if you have further questions please feel free to contact us.

How long are package rentals? Can additional hours be added? 

All packages are allotted as a 4 hour rental and additional hours can be added for $50 per hour. Our last drop off is 4:00pm unless otherwise arranged.

Where can we set up?

We offer set ups for both indoor and outdoor venues. Our set ups are approximately (14ft x 14ft) - (17ft x17ft) and we highly recommend measuring your area, however, we can arrange layouts to best fit your space.

How often is equipment cleaned?

All equipment is cleaned, disinfected and inspected after every rental. Cleanliness is of utmost importance to Little Poppets Play and we want to provide a safe experience upon every use.

Are you insured?

Yes. We are happy to provide a certificate of insurance should your venue require one.

When should expect delivery and set up?

Your package will be delivered and set up 1-2 hours prior to your event start time. Please ensure the area is cleared and ready for set up.

What is your weather policy?

If you have an outdoor event booked, we strongly advise that you have an indoor alternative just in case. Water can cause serious damage to the equipment so unfortunately, we cannot set up outdoors during heavy wind, possibility of rain, thunder, or lightning.

If your event is has to be cancelled due to weather conditions and/or unforeseeable events the day of your event, Little Poppets Play will contact you to have your event rescheduled and the deposit will not be refunded.

Soft Play equipment will get extremely hot in direct sunlight, we require any outdoor set up space to have adequate shade for the safety of the children. 

​

If no rescheduling is possible, you are able to cancel the rental but with a 50% cancellation fee.

Is there a delivery fee?

Delivery is included in the package price for all venues within a 15 mile radius of New Braunfels, a custom delivery fee based on milage will be added for any venue further.

Do you require a deposit?

A 25% deposit is required to secure your event date. The remaining balance must be paid 3 days prior to your event date. A deposit will NOT be reimbursed if the rental is cancelled within 24hrs of your event start time. If the rental is cancelled within 3 days of your event, you will be refunded 50% of your deposit. If the rental is cancelled more than 7 days before your event, you will be refunded the entire deposit.

A refundable damage deposit of $100 will be applied at check out and will be returned within 48 hours of pickup & inspection of items.

What will cause loss of damage deposit?

The following list includes examples (not limited to) that could cause you to forfeit your damage deposit

  • Water Damage

  • Paint, Dye or Stains

  • Rips or Tears

  • Heavy Dirt or Mud

  • Signs of Food, Gum & Candy

We understand we are working at events with children and know there will be natural wear to our equipment. We just ask that our clients follow all the rules and treat our equipment as if it were their own.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to reschedule or cancel your reservation you may do so at no additional cost when given a minimum of 7 days notice. If you cancel within 7 days of your scheduled event, you will forfeit your opportunity to reschedule.

Are there any rules for the play area?

In the play area we do NOT allow shoes, food or drink, face paint, glitter, confetti, sharp objects or pets. Adult supervision is required at all times. All play equipment must remain in the play area.

Why Soft Play?

Soft Play is a great way for babies and toddlers to explore obstacles, enhance gross motor skills, and strengthen confidence in climbing and crawling.  All of our equipment is made of commercial grade soft and sturdy foam giving you the peace of mind that your tots will be safe adventuring.

What ages are appropriate for Soft Play Equipment use?

Our equipment is appropriate for children 6 months (able to sit up independently) to five years. Adults are welcome to join children in the play area without shoes but must not use the equipment.
